The role

OPEXEngine is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Senior Account Executive to help expand our impact and accelerate growth. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a central role in identifying new opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and helping shape our go-to-market playbook.

You’ll work directly with our leadership team to engage prospective customers, helping them leverage OPEXEngine’s benchmarking data to uncover opportunities and make smarter operational decisions. This role offers the chance to take real ownership, helping shape our customer engagement strategy and laying the groundwork for future growth.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to closing new business
  • Develop a deep understanding of OPEXEngine’s value proposition and effectively communicate it to senior decision-makers
  • Partner closely with leadership to refine and build our go-to-market playbook
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Delivery teams to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer experience
  • Maintain an active pipeline through proactive outreach, relationship building, and thoughtful follow-up

Minimum qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in SaaS or data-driven products
  • Proven success in quota-carrying, new business acquisition roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including extensive experience presenting to executives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience selling to investment firms or corporate finance teams is especially valuable, but not required
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot or Salesforce) and a disciplined approach to pipeline management

U.S. Compensation Information

Compensation for this role includes base salary, sales commissions, 401(k) plan with employer contribution, and OPEXEngine’s benefits package. Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized on-target earnings (OTE) for this role is $150,000 - $200,000. OTE reflects expected earnings at target performance; actual earnings may vary based on individual and company performance. Placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training, and skill level.
