The role
OPEXEngine is evolving and seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Insights to own, shape, and scale our insights offerings, which are a core and highly visible part of our customer value proposition. This is not a role focused on maintaining an existing process. You will have meaningful ownership over how our benchmarking reports and analyses evolve, how insights are delivered, and how we scale impact across our customer base.
Reporting to the VP, Strategy and Operations, you will work directly with senior operators and executives across leading SaaS companies, translating data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You will own and continuously enhance our flagship 360 Benchmarking Insights Report, defining what excellence looks like, prioritizing improvements, and integrating automation and AI capabilities to increase both quality and scalability.
Through customer engagements, you will gain deep exposure to SaaS business models across growth stages and learn firsthand how companies think about performance, resource allocation, and value creation. You will not only deliver insights, but also influence how OPEXEngine communicates them, shape product development priorities, and help define the future of our services.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery and ongoing evolution of the 360 Benchmarking Insights Report, ensuring it drives measurable strategic impact for customers.
- Define and execute the roadmap for improving and scaling our reports and custom analyses, driving automation, AI integration, and process innovation to expand impact and efficiency.
- Build direct relationships with senior SaaS operators and executives, serving as a trusted advisor on benchmarking, performance, and strategic trade-offs.
- Partner with Bain case teams to identify relevant benchmarks, tailoring analyses to specific client needs and strategic objectives.
- Support and shape thought leadership initiatives by generating insights for OPEXEngine and Bain content, including blog posts, webinars, and other customer-facing materials.
- Collaborate cross functionally with Product and Sales to define the long-term growth of the function, leveraging customer feedback to identify and prioritize opportunities to enhance and expand all OPEXEngine offerings.

Minimum qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy and operations, or a similar strategic role, with significant experience conducting data driven analyses and driving executive-facing deliverables.
- Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including experience developing executive-level presentations and performing analytical data work.
- Comfort presenting to customers or senior stakeholders, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
- Prior experience and/or demonstrated interest in learning about SaaS business models
Compensation & Benefits
This base compensation for this role is in the range of $140,000 – $160,000 annually (excluding bonus) for candidates based in the U.S. Actual Compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s location and experience. OPEXEngine also provides comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
